House O

2007 // Bayside, OR, US // house // study

  Overview

House O was molded as a volume extracted from the terrain. A deep slope with two road accesses to the top and bottom of the hill and two attached neighbors to each side shapes the plot. The geometry refers both to the beach (half a mile away from the site) and the mountain (located behind the building location). These symbiotic relationships are constant in the organization and distribution of the spaces.
