Overview  

The project investigates the projectual commonalities existing in the architectural academia of the northeast megalopolis of the United States; a world architecture theory "mine" and the most attractive educational "mecca" of the present time.

The project will showcase all architectural visions from the standpoint of a vast academic network and its theoretical backbone. The research will result in an exhibition and catalog, an atlas that will decipher the projects encountered in higher architectural education institutions within the area of study.

How is architecture generated today and how is it taught? More than ever before, the definition of architecture is dictated today by the blurred visions of its own future, by an idea that is yet to come, by a “project”. Along these lines, architecture schools have become collaborative enterprises that continuously challenge their mission statement and redefine the discipline of architecture as they foresee future scenarios.
